Lexington Children’s Theatre is excited to announce auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical, our holiday Opera House performance.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical (BCPE)
Audition Dates
- Saturday, September 12th from 4:00-6:00 pm
- Sunday, September 13th from 4:00-6:00 pm
- Monday, September 14th from 6:30-8:30 pm
Call Backs are tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 17th or Friday, September 18th. We’ll start no earlier than 6:00 PM and end no later than 10:00 pm. The actual times and dates will be determined once we know the number of attendees.
All performers must turn 8 before September 30th, 2026, to be eligible to audition. If you’re VERY close to this cutoff , email rsm@lctonstage.org to inquire about the potential of auditioning.

Where and when does the show perform?
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical is performed at the Lexington Opera House from November 29th through December 7th. There are 4 public weekend performances, and 6 days of school performances.

Sunday, November 29 – 2:00 pm
Saturday, December 5 – 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm (Pay What You Will*)
Sunday, December 6 – 2:00 pm
School Field Trip Performances
Monday, November 30 – 10:00 am & 12:00 pm
Tuesday, December 1 – 10:00 am & 12:00 pm
Wednesday, December 2 – 10:00 am & 12:00 pm
Thursday, December 3 – 10:00 am & 12:00 pm
Friday, December 4 – 10:00 am & 12:00 pm
Monday, December 7 – 10:00 am & 12:00 pm
